About Alexis

With an introspective heart and lyric-focused writing, Alexis Nicole’s music mixes Christian values with life lessons and everyday experiences. Often consisting of just her voice and a guitar, Alexis’ music has an acoustic, relatable feel that invites the audience to have a conversation and share their experiences right along with hers. Many of the themes she tackles in her songs have to deal with mental health and self compassion, as well as finding faith and identity in the midst of universal struggles. Through her music, Alexis Nicole wishes to spread hope and to give her audience the feeling that no matter what they are going through, they are not alone.

Alexis’ love for music as well as singing began with praise and worship at church. Encouraged by the uplifting nature of the songs she heard every week, she began to realize just how powerfully music could speak to people. In high school, Alexis joined choir and taught herself how to play guitar. Not long after, she began writing original songs in an effort to put forth her own faith-filled messages, like that of MercyMe and Lauren Daigle, some of her biggest Christian music influences. With a guitar in her hands and stories in her head, Alexis dug her heels into songwriting and went on to be accepted into Belmont University as a music major.

Alexis Nicole has been grateful for the opportunities she’s received to showcase her own work, such as a solo performance during a banquet at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has also gotten to be a part of high-performing music ensembles like the OkMEA All-State Choir, and throughout high school participated in competitions around the midwest with one of her school’s top tier performance groups. More recently, Alexis has had the pleasure of getting to sing on the praise and worship team of Life.Church Jenks, her home church back in Oklahoma.

As she continues to study her craft in the heart of Nashville, Alexis Nicole looks forward to writing even more music and plans to release her first EP before she graduates in 2025.
